Hi, I'm Lahna, I'm 20 and I am originally from Southend on Sea in Essex.
I am here in lovely Eltham because I am currently doing a degree with St.Mellitus College in Theology and Youth Work and am doing my placement with XLP. As part of that placement I am working with you here at Eltham Park Baptist Church doing Youth Work alongside Rosie. My degree is 3 years long and so hopefully I will be here for the next three years if you don't mind! I would consider myself as a very fun loving person who loves being around others and having a good talk. My passions in life are young people and ministry through prayer, and so I am really excited to be doing just that for the next 3 years. I've known for a while now that youth work is what I want to do for the rest of my life, and although I am still unsure of exactly what that will look like I am happy enough and blessed enough to know that I will get to do what I love. I have a real heart for seeing young people just get what God is about, and making that change from seeing God as something they can add to their lives to seeing God as the pinnacle, the centre of their lives.
On a side from that, when I have time I also love baking, singing, playing the guitar and hope to get into knitting soon!
