I'm the Student Youth Worker from Eltham Park Baptist Church! I am keen to get to know local churches and improve networking, particularly among the young people. It's really important that being the next generation to take Christianity on - they are able to meet like-minded young Christians near to them, without feeling the need to attend events such as Soul Survivor and New Day to meet these great people. It seems to me there are lots of isolated youth groups and I'd love to get them worshiping together!
At the moment I am hoping to get in touch with as many local youth workers as possible to let you know about our own monthly Youth Service, 'Believe'- (check out this webpage)
I am really excited about our youth service, it has been running for nearly two years now – we know we have something stable and good, so this year we are really putting all our effort into making it something great. We are giving it a bit of a face lift. We want it to be a place of community, worship, a safe place where Young People can personally meet God and where they can meet other people just like themselves. Please do come along and give it a try!
